Disclaimer I won this book from a GoodReads First Reads contest I generally like books like this ones who break down a concept that's pretty basic and explain it using scientific research and other types of studies The one issue I had with it is that it seemed to oversimplify some things while glossing over others at the same time Just when I really got into a chapter it seemed like it was over too uickly without me reaching the aha moment It also ended on page 240 despite this being counted as book over 300 pages The remaining 100 pages are bibliography which is great for looking up the citations for journal articles you might want to follow up on but it's also indicative of why I only gave this book 3 stars With that many references this book should have been way longer than 240 pages and I shouldn't be left feeling cheated out of content It was an enjoyable read and for those with zero scientific background I think it will be a hit I was going to rate it 35 stars but as a loyal MSU basketball fan I had to take off 12 star for including an interview with Coach K YuckOk I'm joking about thatOr am I
