Willow Michaels is a character that I remember from the previous book in The Cowboy series I liked seeing how a Hard of Hearing woman fit herself into the world of cowboys rodeos and bull riding Of course the glimpse we saw of her in the first book was small compared to what we see of her in this oneI must confess that while I loved Willow's character in this book and appreciated her strength as well as her uest to learn to allow herself to be vulnerable with the right people at the right time this was a difficult read for me I think that was because Brenda Minton wrote so well about Willow's hearing loss and the possibility that she might face complete deafness I am facing those kind of things myself right now and I suppose the topic hit a bit close to homeAll in all I enjoyed the book and am looking forward to the next book in the series
